Happy Olympics Eve, especially to the seemingly endless list of Comcast and Comcast-adjacent people in Paris for the 17-day boondoggle—sorry, celebration of exceptionalism and global unity. So much for the Covid-era culling of the NBCUniversal “hospitality” list; if you’ve got a decent executive title at 30 Rock or in the Universal City tower—or you’re a producer or talent with ties to the studio—and you weren’t thrown a 5-star hotel and some gymnastics tickets, you’re basically nobody and should leave.
