Several art advisors told me they were looking at New York’s November auctions and seeing great works at good prices. That assessment was confirmed late last week when the auction houses unveiled their wares. According to the data gathered by ARTDAI, next week’s sales have a combined low estimate of $1.67 billion; that’s an average price of $950,000.
