It has taken a few years to unwind the vast holdings and art and property that Anne Bass amassed during her lifetime. The art and ballet patron, who died in 2020, owned a palatial floor at 960 Fifth Avenue, which finally sold in January for $53.5 million. The art therein was sold at Christie’s three years ago for a total of $363 million, with a dozen lots including two Rothkos, a Degas little dancer, and three extraordinary Monets, among other works.
